Party Conferences 2023

Alcohol Change UK and the Alcohol Health Alliance will be speaking to MPs at the Labour and Conservative Party Conferences this October!

Alcohol harm undoubtedly affects many of us directly, or indirectly through our families, friends, and communities - it’s time to tackle alcohol harm in the UK. With three people dying every hour from an alcohol-related cause, we’re calling for politicians to work with us to help to encourage a society that is free from alcohol harm.

That is why we’re going to Party Conferences: to tell MPs directly that more action is urgently needed.

MPs will be able to hear directly from our community champions about the impact alcohol had on their lives as well as engaging them in our interactive board game, where we will have an opportunity to talk about the actions, they as decision-makers can take.

We need your help to speak to as many MPs as possible.

Please invite your MP to visit our stand to discuss alcohol harm and how to tackle this urgent problem.

P.S. This action is specific to Labour and Conservative MPs. If you are told that ‘No representative was found’, you can still help us by writing to your MP here: https://ahauk.good.do/strategy/MP/
